Turning Around A Dying Home Business

There comes a point in many people’s home based businesses when it’s just flat out not happening for them. They’ve put in a lot of time, money and energy and are seeing very little results. This can cause people to wonder if they should just give up or keep on going.

If you feel like your home based business is dying there are several ways you can bring it back to life. They may not all be fun but they’ll be worth it in the results you’ll soon see.

First of all you can go back to anyone on your “warm market” list that you never talked to about your business. A lot of people are guilty of not wanting to “bother” their friends and family. But, really it’s not bothering them at all. You’re simply presenting them with an opportunity and if they accept or not is totally up to them.

So don’t feel bad about talking to your ex-roommate, your co-workers or those other moms on the PTA who knows… you could have just the thing they’re looking for so don’t be scared!

Second you can switch up your weekly routine! This can work wonders for a dying home based business. Routine is great but sometimes it can keep you from being on your toes and excited about the challenges of a new day. So work different hours or just change up the order that you do business in. It will give your week an extra little boost.

Another thing you can do is hold a contest just between you and your team. Something like whoever recruit’s the most people in a single month gets $100 or even just a gift card for a restaurant in their local area. Competition can bring out the fight in people and it can really revive your business.

One final tip would be to set more mini goals for yourself and reward yourself when you accomplish them. Nothing is better than working towards a goal and meeting it. So set some serious goals and think about what you’ll do for yourself when you get them done.

If you follow these steps your business will get a huge breath of fresh air and your business might just be saved from flat lining.
