First of all let me say that I think everyone should have BOTH an Myspace and a Facebook account. They are free after all. However, when it comes to which one you should spend the most time on I would have to say Myspace.

Why do I say that? Because Myspace gives you more freedom to market the way you want to market. Facebook really doesn’t have a lot of desire to be a marketing site. They are a social network that is high on the social factor. When they discover that you are marketing your business they don’t like it very much.

There are things you can do on Facebook however. Joining groups on Facebook is where the real marketing really takes place. In these groups you can talk about your business as well as get tips from others on how to be more successful.
