If your home-based business is based on Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing, than you know the crucial importance of leads. There are a lot of companies that supply leads, however the quality ranges from worthless to priceless.

Here’s an article talking about that very concern – the real value of the leads, and the companies providing them. If you find this article useful, please let us know below. And if you have any tips of your own, or experiences with lead companies, good or bad, let us know as well.

Businesses That Supply MLM Opportunities: Important Factors To Consider
by Ryan Nelson

Numerous MLM Opportunities have begun to flourish within the troubling economy the world has experienced. Prior to examining the actual opportunity, consider the business itself. There is a lot of information that you can acquire by researching the business, and there is a lot less hype found within the research. Analyze and consider some of the following factors.

First and foremost, have a peek at the size of the business. Well-known companies that offer such opportunities will undoubtedly have a lot of competition. You may want to stay away from these companies. Small companies do not have as much competition, but their brands are not well-known. People are hesitant to purchase them, so again, stay away from them.

For safety reasons, go with a medium sized business. This will maximize the potential of your investment. Furthermore, the age of a business is another crucial factor to consider. You may find it surprising, but a lot of companies do not make it past their second or third year anniversary. This is an even more common scenario within the multi-level marketing industry. You should think long and hard before opting for a company that has only been around for a year or so. On the other hand, you should not go with a company that is older than fifteen years. If you do, there will be too much competition.

You need to find a company that has been around for four to five years, perhaps a bit longer. This will ensure the business is both legitimate and financially stable. You can also rest easy knowing that the company is not going to disappear with your money the next day.

Investigate the industry as well. Needless to say, the more competition means the harder it is to work. This is common amongst popular industries such as the health and wellness one. If you find a lot of competition in your selected industry, you should consider another.

Also, take a look at the attrition rate. This can be acquired by phoning the company. Though this vital piece of information is ignored by many network marketers, it is important to take the time to find out what it is. In its simplest form, the attrition rate of a company or business is how long the average marketer stays in the program. Common example include three years, six years, or three months. This information varies from business to business and industry to industry. Just as a forewarning, you should not join a company that has an attrition rate of three months or less. It will be far too hard to work such an opportunity.

You must look into what others are saying about the business as well. Find product reviews on the internet and see what others think regarding the business. Make sure you weigh out all of these factors in full and get a feeling for what people think of it.

Before joining any of the many MLM Opportunities, you must perform the proper research. Consider all of these in full and always take what people are saying about the business seriously. They have been in it, or tried the product; they know best.

You can get complete (http://BusinessTM.com) MLM Opportunities, materials and details that you will need to begin thriving a successful business fast and easy! When you read (http://mlmfiles.com) MLM reviews, you will be able to find the program that will fit your requirements.

How are you getting your leads for MLM or Network Marketing opportunites? Do you generate them yourself (advertising, word-of-mouth, etc.) or are you buying them from a company? Have you had any really good – or really bad – experiences with companies that provide either sales leads or prospect leads? We’d love to hear about your experience!

If you’re in the Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing business, then you know that leads are your lifeblood. Both for customers and building your downline sponsorship, the growth of your business depends on a steady stream of new leads.

Jim Miller, an expert in the MLM/Network Marketing sphere, wrote a very good article talking about the importance of leads: getting them via prospecting, managing your efforts, and qualifying them. I’ve reprinted his article below with permission.

by Jim Miller
When your MLM business is reliant on cold calls, referrals, instant messenger communications, and e-mails you already understand the significance of correctly qualifying prospects. You will need to understand about your prospect and his or her requirements and then figure out exactly how your product or service meets those requirements. Which means you require a qualified prospect.

What is considered a qualified prospect and where on earth do you find them. A qualified prospect is a person (or business) which needs or wants your product because it satisfies a requirement or handles some problem they possess. How will your prospective client know if what you’re providing is likely to help? They have by no means heard of you or your product or service until you contacted them. They’ll know simply because you’ve done your preparation before contacting them and know what will enhance their business. That is where very good solid Internet research comes in useful.

Now you start getting to understand your prospect, or in different terms, you begin relationship marketing. Over time talking with them, you’ll acquire a clear image concerning them and their needs, and you’ll know if you would like to work along with them on your Crew.

Keep in mind: Your products and solutions and your service and how you give it and perform business IS YOUR BUSINESS and you don’t need just anyone to help you build it.

Several may let you know right away that they are not interested. Several may call you names. Some just won’t understand exactly how you might possibly help them, until you educate them. And here’s something you need to understand and operate WITH, not against. A few prospects for your Team will rule themselves out with their particular questions to you.

For instance: Exactly how hard do I have to work to make any money? Just how fast can I make money? Is this an MLM scheme? You’ll recognize right away your business isn’t for them. Precisely why? Mainly because they will not perform to make your business function for them or for you. As well as you are not in business to lose business or customers.

Don’t squander numerous hours hoping to influence people to work with you. These people either want to because they acknowledge the value of the opportunity or they don’t want to and hounding them is not going to make any difference.

Bottom line: It is extremely essential to possess a never ending flow of qualified prospects to grow your Mlm or Network Marketing business. There are numerous methods to do this. Make sure you know your target market whenever going after your prospects, therefore boosting your return on investment.

You’ve probably heard before that “the money is in the list” but what does that really mean? It means that the more people you have on your marketing list the better chance you have of signing up more people and therefore making more money in your home based business.

It is true that the money is in the list… so how do you build a giant prospecting list when you’re just getting started in your home based business? Or perhaps you’re not new to MLM you’re just new to the idea of list building. Either way, this article is designed to show you how to build the largest list possible in the shortest amount of time. Because the money really is in the list!

The first thing you’re going to want to do is set up a squeeze page. Squeeze pages are used by almost all serious internet marketers and they allow people to take a look at your website and business only after they give you their name and email address.

Some squeeze pages have lots of information the prospect needs to enter but really all you need is the first name and email. Many people aren’t comfortable putting in their phone number, address, or anything else and if you ask for it you won’t get as many opt-ins.

Once you get an opt-in they should be allowed to access your website and get the information they need. They will also be put into an auto-responder. An auto-responder is a program that sends out emails for you. This allows you to be doing other things for your business while the auto-responder markets to your prospects for you!

When a prospect is ready to talk to you personally they will pick up the phone and call you! This is the best thing in the world because you know they are really serious about working from home!

If you aren’t currently using a sqeeze page you need to get one, it’s the best thing that can happen to your online business. Many marketers use multiple squeeze pages in order to get the most opt-ins possible.

Another way to grow your list in a big, big way is by giving something away for free. People love free stuff I mean don’t you? By creating your own product (usually like a free report or an ebook) and setting up a website to give it away for free your opt-in list will grow by leaps and bounds! You’ll also of course have to make sure the product you give away is something that has to do with working from home that way your prospects will be targeted.

Don’t worry about bugging people with your emails because at the bottom of every email your auto-responder sends out there will be an opt-out link. That way the only people who stay on your list are the people who are really interested.

Finally, once you’ve set up your free product page and your business squeeze pages you’ll need to promote, promote, promote! If you don’t promote your websites only nobody (or very few) is ever going to find them. Use free sites like network marketing forums, twitter, myspace, face book, you tube and article websites to get the word out about your pages and you’ll have tons of free prospects in no time!

Follow these easy steps and you’ll have more prospects than you’ll have time to talk to in a day! Remember, your list won’t grow overnight or without some serious promotion but if you’re looking for a cost effective way to have lots and lots of people to talk to this the best method out there.

Many people want to know how to spot the perfect home based business or mlm prospect. I mean after all if you can spot them you can talk to them and if you talk to them you might just start signing up a whole lot more people right?

So who exactly is the perfect or ideal mlm prospect?

Many people believe it’s middle aged males… some people believe it’s stay at home moms… and some others believe it’s young excited 20 somethings. The truth is though there really isn’t an ideal home based business prospect. Sorry, believe me I wish there was, It really would make prospecting much easier.

There is absolutely no science involved in choosing who would be good for a home based business and who wouldn’t be and if you try to narrow it down and find the right demographic you’ll probably be disappointed.

The fact of the matter is that old people, young people, men, women and people of every different occupation, and race have found success working from home and the winners are not always easy to spot. That’s why you have to talk to as many people as possible to find them.

I have seen many people who make 6 figures or more in mlm who would never stand out in a room full of people. The only difference between them and the people who fail in network marketing is their hard work… that’s really it.

Even I have fallen into the trap of saying “wow so and so would be so good in this business” but guess what those extraverted, excitable, dynamic people are usually no more successful than the hard working soft spoken single mom. It’s just all about desire.

There is no age or skill set or specific look that will point out a great prospect from a bad one so don’t bother looking for the signs.

Your absolute best chance at finding the great prospects is to talk to as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time. So get started because you never know if the next person you talk to will be a dud or the person who makes you a hundred thousand dollars!

Building a home based business that will create wealth and freedom for many years to come is a dream for so many people. However, if you don’t build your business with a firm foundation your business might not last as long as you would like.

Here are a few keys to help you build your home based business, whatever it is, with a firm and lasting foundation.

Key Number One: Find quality prospects

Believe me, I understand what it’s like to be so desperate to make money from home that you’ll accept just about anyone into your business. However, if you want to build your business to last you’ll want to find people who are going to work hard and are in it for the long haul.

Of course there is no real way to know how serious someone is about building a business. You can only judge them for how they act and what they say, but if someone is always complaining and finding fault in everything right out of the gate you can probably guess that they will eventually end up quitting.

You want to find people who are so passionate about working from home that they won’t let negativity get them down. When you find a team of people who will work and work hard for as long as it takes to succeed you will have a strong and lasting team.

Key Number Two: Always be honest with people

Pretty much all home business owners will have the opportunity to stretch the truth a little from time to time, you know to sweeten the deal. However, if you want to build a business that lasts you want to make sure you are always being 100% honest with people.

You see, stretching the truth about any aspect of your business could give people false hope or higher expectations. And that means that they will probably get discouraged much, much easier.

When people get discouraged sooner or later they are probably going to quit and that is bad news for you and your business.

Key Number Three: Build your business steadily over time

Have you ever done this? You work really, really hard for a couple of weeks and then you work hardly at all for a while. Then you work really, really hard for a month and then quit for a while longer?

Almost every home business owner I know has done this at least a couple of times. However, it is actually best to build your business more consistently over time. I’m not saying that you have to build it slow… just don’t shoot off like a rocket and then burn out after a month or two like a lot of people do.

When you build any type of business consistently rather than a little here or a little there you are sure to build it with a much firmer foundation.

By following these easer keys you will more than likely build a business that will last a very long time, and isn’t that what every home based business owner wants?
